Glycerine, sometimes referred to as glycerin or glycerol, is a clear and odourless by-product of soap-making. During this process, fatty acids are heated and put under pressure. The glycerine is then separated and extracted. Craft 360 glycerine is Palm Free and derived from rapeseed or soybean.

Being an effective humectant, glycerine bonds well with water molecules. This allows the water to be drawn from the dermis and the surrounding air — leading to an increase in the hydration of the dry, outer layer of the skin. Adding glycerine will also increase the solubility of other ingredients and prevent the product from drying out.

Our palm-free, vegetable-based glycerine is capable of soothing dry, irritated skin. Given its gentle nature, it can also be applied directly to affected areas of the skin. Perfect for those suffering common skin conditions. 

Used as a key ingredient in many skin care products, glycerine can be found in lotions, cosmetics, soaps, scrubs, and hand sanitisers. With a sweet taste and syrup-like consistency, Craft 360 glycerine is palm-free and derived from soya and rapeseed.
