🌿 How it Works + Tips

Good things take time: This is two kits in one. Your Oil Infusion kit will take 3 weeks to prepare before you can create your body butter. So we suggest you start that early.

Your body butter kit is designed to help you create a luxurious, age-supporting moisturiser that melts beautifully into the skin. By blending nutrient-dense Rosehip Seed Oil with Rose-Infused Jojoba Oil and rich unrefined Shea Butter, you’ll craft an intensive butter popularly used for mature skin, scars, stretch marks, and areas needing deep nourishment.

Ingredient Highlights:

Β β€’ Rosehip Seed Oil β€” Cold-pressed and rich in vitamin C, essential fatty acids, and natural retinoids that support skin nourishment.
β€’ Rose-Infused Jojoba Oil (Takes 3 weeks to prepare) β€” A botanical-infused oil combining rose’s conditioning benefits with jojoba’s skin-identical esters.
β€’ Organic Shea Butter (Unrefined) β€” Delivers lasting moisture and reinforces the skin barrier.
β€’ Rose Geranium Essential Oil β€” Balancing floral oil that supports a healthy complexion.
β€’ Rosemary Essential Oil β€” Antioxidant-rich oil that helps preserve your blend naturally while invigorating the skin.

πŸ’‘ Tip: This is a concentrated butter β€” a little goes a long way.

  • Remove from the microwave and stir until the shea butter is melted.

Heat Bath Method:

  • Fill a cooking pot with enough water to reach halfway up the outside of your heat-resistant jug.

β€’ Massage treatment: Rich texture suits slow, therapeutic application.
β€’ Small amounts: A little goes a long way due to the high oil content.

πŸ’‘ Tips & Troubleshooting

Tip: Store at room temperature, away from sunlight, below 24 Β°C, the butter will begin to melt above this temperature.

β€’ Too soft? Add 5–10g more Shea Butter or 2–3g Cocoa/Kokum Butter or Beeswax. Remelt below 50 Β°C.
β€’ Orange or reddish tint? Normal β€” from Rosehip Seed Oil’s natural carotenoids.
β€’ White spots or grainy texture? Likely overheated β€” still safe to use.
β€’ Strong herbal scent? Rosemary’s aroma will soften within 24–48 hours.
β€’ Oil separation? Caused by overheating β€” gently remelt and cool slowly.
β€’ Rancid smell? Rosehip oil should smell nutty, not fishy. Discard if odour changes.
β€’ Temperature reminder: Never exceed 50 Β°C to preserve Rosehip’s delicate compounds.
