Important Safety Advice ⚠️
✔ Always patch test before use — Apply a small amount of finished balm to the inner wrist or elbow. Wait 24 hours to check for any irritation.
✔ Essential Oil Safety — Do not exceed 2% of the total balm weight. If using on lips, ensure your essential oil is lip-safe. Avoid use on infants, young children, or sensitive areas without professional advice.
✔ Keep out of reach of children.
✔ Avoid contact with eyes — If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
✔ For external use only — This product is not edible.
✔ Allergy Awareness — Always check the ingredient list carefully. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
✔ Handle with care — Melted balm gets hot! Always use heat-resistant containers and supervise heating.
💡 Tip: If gifting or selling your balm, always label clearly and include a full ingredient list.

How to Prepare
⚠️ Important: Once your ingredients are melted, vigorous mixing is essential. Base must reach over 55°C before removing from heat.
- Sterilise: All tools, jars, and bowls with boiling water. Allow to air dry completely.
-
Melt Balm Base:
Microwave Method:- Place balm in microwave-safe jug.
- Heat in 20-second bursts until 80% melted.
- Stir quickly and vigorously until fully melted.
- Place jug in pot with water halfway up sides.
- Apply low heat — no need to boil.
- Stir gently until ~80% melted. Remove and stir until smooth.
- Add Carrier Oils & Butters: Mix quickly and vigorously. Reheat slightly if base begins to set.
- Add Essential or Flavour Oils: Mix thoroughly. Avoid adding to base while very hot to preserve aroma and potency.
- Stir as Base Cools: Continue steady stirring as it thickens — this ensures smooth texture and prevents separation.
- Transfer & Label: Pour into containers. Leave lids off for ~2 hours to cool. Label with date and ingredients.
