Important Safety Advice ⚠️
✔ Always patch test before use — Apply a small amount of finished balm to the inner wrist or elbow. Wait 24 hours to check for any irritation.
✔ Essential Oil Safety — Do not exceed 2% of the total balm weight. If using on lips, ensure your essential oil is lip-safe. Avoid use on infants, young children, or sensitive areas without professional advice.
✔ Keep out of reach of children.
✔ Avoid contact with eyes — If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
✔ For external use only — This product is not edible.
✔ Allergy Awareness — Always check the ingredient list carefully. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
✔ Handle with care — Melted balm gets hot! Always use heat-resistant containers and supervise heating.
💡 Tip: If gifting or selling your balm, always label clearly and include a full ingredient list.

Texture & Consistency Guide

→ Reduce oils and butters — or use the base as-is for tube-style balms or warmer environments.
💡 Tip: Start with a mini batch to test your preferred texture — then scale up!
How to Prepare
⚠️ Important: Vigorous mixing is essential once melted to ensure the base blends properly.
-
Sterilise:

Melt Balm Base:
Microwave Method:- Place balm base in a heat-safe jug.
- Heat in 20-second bursts until ~80% melted.
- Remove and stir vigorously until fully melted.

Add Carrier Oils & Butters:
Pour in measured oils and butters. Mix quickly and vigorously.
💡 Keep it warm and liquid — reheat gently if needed. -
Add Essential Oil / Flavour Oil:
Stir in and mix thoroughly.
💡 Avoid adding oils to very hot balm — this can reduce scent strength. -
Stir Vigorously as the Base Cools:
Continue stirring as the balm thickens slightly — then it's ready to pour. -
Transfer to Container & Label:
Pour into tubes or jars.
Leave lids off to cool and harden (~2+ hours).
